This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have.
Content you post (pastes, titles, comments). Account data if you sign in via auth.ng (username, email). Basic technical data such as IP address and request metadata, used for security, rate-limiting, and abuse prevention.
To operate the service, render and deliver your pastes, prevent abuse and spam, scan for leaked secrets, and provide analytics to paste owners.
We do not sell your content. Private and password-protected pastes are not indexed and are not shown in public discovery. Burn-after-reading pastes are permanently deleted after their first view.
We share data only with service providers needed to run Pastevio (hosting, identity via auth.ng) and where required by law or a valid legal request.
You can export or delete your account data. To exercise any privacy right, contact legal@pastevio.com.
Pastes are kept until they expire, are deleted, or hit their view limit. Logs are retained for a limited period for security purposes.
